La Kitchenette Souris : Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls

These are absolutely amazing & very, very dangerous. *laughs* 

Once you start with them, you won't be able to stop.

Fairly simple to make, but a little messy. 

Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls

1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 7 ounce jar marshmallow creme
(I used between 3/4 cup & 1 cup)
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 teaspoons shortening

Combine peanut butter, marshmallow creme & Rice Krispies in a bowl.
Roll teaspoons of mix into 1 inch balls.

Melt shortening.
Add chocolate chips & melt together until smooth.
Dip balls into melted chocolate.

Place on baking sheets lined with wax paper & refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Store in fridge.
